The Penn Avenue Corridor in West Reading is set to come alive for the Holidays kicking off with Small Business Saturday on November 26, 2022.

West Reading merchants are participating in our #ShopSmall Passport promotion! Pick up your passport and Black AMEX #ShopSmall bag while supplies last from 10am – noon at 6th and Penn Avenues!
Visit at least eight of these participating shops and get your Passport stamped!
Completed Passports can be dropped at Betula’s Botanica (by 5pm) or Refillable Goods (by 7pm) on Saturday November 26th OR mailed to the WRCRF at 20 N. 6th Avenue, Suite A, West Reading, PA 19611. A winner will be drawn from entries received by December 1 at 5pm.
One winner will receive a Carriage Ride for 4 people Friday December 16th at 9:45pm. A great way to end or start your Winter Weekend!
In 2010, American Express launched the first Small Business Saturday, which takes place the day after Black Friday in response to the damage done to small businesses during the Recession in the late 2000s. The event adopted the slogan “#ShopSmall” and the movement took off from there. The #ShopSmall movement is certainly making an impact in West Reading.
During the Holiday season, Penn Avenue as a whole will offer extended hours, carriage rides, music, and merchant specials!
