2nd annual Fashion Show “Get.Dressed.”
West Reading is bringing high fashion to Reading with their second annual Fashion Show “Get.Dressed.” This event will bring together the area’s fashion community for a night of creativity, style and music. Looks walking down the runway will feature streetwear, bridal and lingerie, coming from prominent area boutiques, Lilibeas, Allison Clothing Company, Holistic Skateshop, Slay Boutique, A Touch of Grace, Bella Jules and Frock. Albright college fashion student’s designs will also walk down the runway while competing in a upcycling design contest.
The show will take place on Feb 2nd, 2019 at 7 pm in the EtchFit gym located at the new Narrows building in West Reading. Tickets can be purchased at WRFW for $45, or $50 at the door. Leading up to the show West Reading will feature events with their very own Fashion Week, January 27th, 2019 to February 3rd, 2019. During this time participating boutiques will have their own discounts, sales and promotions. Tuesday we will kick off fashion week at Encrypted Escape with a cocktail party from 5-7pm. On Thursday, January 31st, 2019, there will be a Fashion Hack Walk event. The community is invited to walk Penn Ave to learn fashion tips from store owners. On Sunday, February 3rd local restaurants will be hosting tableside modelling to further showcase the Fashion of West Reading.
