Be Mine Boutique pivots to on-line sales with a generosity of spirit!
You may have noticed a new stylish boutique on the Avenue. Be Mine Boutique’s owner, Ali Pakradooni, recently showcased some of her curated looks at the West Reading Fashion Show. We recently checked in with her on how she is handling this retail challenge during her opening year.
According to Ali, “The biggest positive with my new way of running the business is that my original goal was to get an online presence within my first year, but being so busy running the store I hadn’t had time to begin the project. So as soon as the store closed I used the first week to work hard and photograph every piece in the store with the help of my interns, as well as create the website. All though under difficult circumstances, I am thrilled to begin this online journey and create an opportunity for individuals out of our zip code to explore the boutique.”
She continues, “I know it’s hard to be positive during times like this, but positivity is what allows me to push through and continue working for my dreams.” I find this quote to be inspiring in these times ‘I retain the right to be incredibly moved by the things that no one notices’ taken from Where’d You Go, Bernadette is a 2012 comedy novel written by Maria Semple.”
“Some other things I have been enjoying are watching anything with Diane Keaton in it, listening to Louis Armstrong while cooking up a storm with my mother (my favorite was Vietnamese Chicken Cabbage Salad)”
