For a week starting June 14, 32 accomplished artists from 7 states will be out capturing the beauty, character and heritage of Berks County on canvas. With a $1000 award for the best painting done in West Reading, we’ll see many artists around the borough that week.
On Friday evening, 6/20, 6-8pm, the art will be unveiled at the Patrons’ Preview & Awards Presentation at the Olympian Ballroom, 603 Penn Ave. The event is invitation-only, but inquiries about tickets may be emailed to info@artplusgallerypa.com.
On Saturday, 6/21, the exhibit will open to the public as a centerpiece of Art on the Avenue, in a large tent at Sixth & Penn Avenues.
