SUMMARY:Quick Draw! in Reading Public Museum Park
DESCRIPTION:Artists young and old\, amateur and pro\, are invited to join the artists of Plein Air West Reading 2025 at Reading Public Museum Park for a “Quick Draw!”–creating the best painting or drawing of the park that you can in two hours\, with $500 in awards in Student and Adult categories. \n• 8:00-10:00am: Register at the Terrace Tent across from the museum’s main entrance. There will a $10 entry fee for adults\, no fee for students (including college) or the juried Plein Air West Reading artists.\nAll artists must bring their own art supplies.\n• 10:00am-noon: Do a painting or drawing of anything in Reading Public Museum Park\n• Noon-12:30: Bring your art to the Terrace Tent across from the museum entrance\n• 1:00 Awards Presentation: Artist/Businessowner Allison Shannon will present $500 in awards to winners in Student and Adult categories\n• The exhibit will remain up until 2:30pm.

DESCRIPTION:For a week starting June 14\, 32 accomplished artists from 7 states will be out capturing the beauty\, character and heritage of Berks County on canvas. With a $1000 award for the best painting done in West Reading\, we’ll see many artists around the borough that week. \nOn Friday evening\, 6/20\, 6-8pm\, the art will be unveiled at the Patrons’ Preview & Awards Presentation at the Olympian Ballroom\, 603 Penn Ave. The event is invitation-only\, but inquiries about tickets may be emailed to info@artplusgallerypa.com. \nOn Saturday\, 6/21\, the exhibit will open to the public as a centerpiece of Art on the Avenue\, in a large tent at Sixth & Penn Avenues.
