MADE Jewelry Boutique offers the “From Afar” collection for gifting

Because you are MADE for each other – the From Afar collection; celebrating the connection of friendship through keepsake, handcrafted pieces perfect for every day wear (and giving and getting).

Say “Hello/I love you/We’ve got this” in style and solidarity. Choose one of these buy-one-get-one combos for the perfect fit for you and your best friend. Also, a great idea for Mother’s Day. Contact Chrissy for more information at 610.741.6676.

We had a chance to ask Chrissy a few questions about how her business is doing these past months:

What incentives if any are you providing?

Refreshed website with online shopping, Personal shopping through FaceTime, and video consultations for custom design. Also I launched the From Afar Collection-a jewelry gram project where you can send a friend a handmade piece of jewelry with a note and also get the same sent to yourself.

How have you modified your daily business flow for COVID -19?

Very much so! I’ve converted as much business as possible to virtual, learning as I go along.

What positive thoughts can you share about the “new” way of doing business?

As small business owners we are used to being quick on our feet. We are constantly assessing, learning and adapting. I think for a lot of us, it’s our time to use those skills and strengths to keep our businesses alive. It’s been inspiring to get creative with our resources and work together.

Also, I’m humbled by the amount of support I’ve gotten from my clients and believe people want to support small business more than ever. We’re there for each other and that beautiful.

What are your challenges?

I think just dealing with the anxiety over the uncertainty of it all. It make adapting a lot more challenging if you don’t know what business is going to look like in the future.

What is the best tip/quote/idea you have learned from this experience so far?

I think basically I’ve learned just to be gentle and patient with myself and give myself the space to process this craziness. Some days are fantastic and some are bad…and that’s ok.

What have you been watching/listening to/eating/making this week?

I’d love to say that I’m learning a new language and making my own kombucha, but in reality I’ve been watching Love is Blind and eating a lot of tater tots….if I’m being honest.
